Fresh-produce cuisine
Located in the city’s shopping area –on Carrer Nou, just a few meters from the old town of Girona–, Savoy Café-Restaurant offers an extensive gastronomic selection based on fresh-produce cuisine, serving breakfast, lunchtime menus and business and group lunches in an elegant and cosy atmosphere.
Daily menu comprised by a starter, main course and dessert. Mineral water and wine included.
A historical café
Founded in the 1930s, Café Savoy was very popular among Girona’s bourgeoisie since its opening until the day it closed in 1972. It was also a meeting point for the city’s illustrious visitors who were staying at Hotel Peninsular, such as the actor Mario Moreno (known as Cantinflas) and the writers Josep Cruset, César González Ruano and Josep Maria Gironella.
After its renovation in 2011, which saw the incorporation of modern elements yet respecting its original design and layout, Savoy Café-Restaurant opened its doors once again on one of Girona’s most famous shopping streets.
